Summary
The fully automatic solid-liquid integrated purge and trap instrument integrates an autosampler and purge and trap device, which can be used for VOC pretreatment in solids or liquids. It is the only instrument of its kind that uses methanol for fully automatic extraction of VOCs from solid samples, fully meeting the requirements of the previous generation product. As an upgraded product, it has strong dehydration capabilities to more effectively reduce the impact on GC/GC-MS; at the same time, it accelerates the cooling rate of the trap, optimizes the desorption efficiency of the trap, and minimizes the risk of sample leakage. Additionally, it has been upgraded to an autosampler composed of XYZ robotic arms with carbon fiber material and lead screw structure, which has the advantages of accurate positioning, flexible intelligence, low noise, corrosion resistance, and fast speed.
So how does the fully automatic solid-liquid integrated purge and trap instrument avoid cross-contamination between water samples and soil samples?
Water samples and soil samples run in two different gas sample pipelines, so there is no cross-contamination during the purging process;
Regardless of whether it's a water sample or a soil sample, after the operation is completed, the injection needle and sample pipeline will be cleaned—90°C high-temperature water cleaning. Of course, methanol cleaning can also be enabled, and the entire pipeline of the instrument can directly run methanol solvent;
Before sample analysis, the injection needle will be purged with high-purity carrier gas;

Soil samples are directly purged in a 40ml purge bottle, while water samples are transferred to a purge tube via a syringe and purged in the purge tube, eliminating cross-contamination;
The fully automatic solid-liquid integrated purge and trap instrument has two soil analysis modes, allowing self-selection of methods (direct soil purging or automated dilution purging after methanol extraction) to analyze high and low concentration soil samples, avoiding the impact of cross-contamination. The purge and trap method does not require the use of organic solvents for sample pretreatment, causing no secondary pollution to the environment. It also has advantages such as small sample volume, high enrichment efficiency, minimal matrix interference, and easy online detection.
The fully automatic solid-liquid integrated purge and trap instrument comes with an electronic cold trap, supporting automatic precise sampling of liquid samples into purge bottles for purge and trap, and also supporting automatic addition of distilled water to solid samples for shaking and mixing before direct purge and trap.
Currently, with the development of the domestic environmental protection industry and the introduction of relevant national standards, the use of purge and trap has become increasingly widespread and common, primarily for determining volatile organic compounds in water quality, soil, and sediments. In the current domestic analytical testing market, providers of purge and trap devices were primarily foreign manufacturers in previous years. In recent two years, domestically produced purge and trap devices have boomed, with many excellent manufacturers emerging. Beijing Juxin Zhuifeng Technology Co., Ltd is one of them, focusing on research and development in the field of scientific analytical instruments. It has a technical team with over ten years of instrument R&D experience, possessing complete development capabilities from drafting design, circuit board development, software program R&D, requirements analysis and testing, to processing and assembly engineering, and has obtained multiple invention patents and utility model patents.
